Regulator Maintenance

Since the rebreather maintenance a couple of weeks ago was a smashing success, it’s on to regulator maintenance. (And boy, do we have a lot of regulators). Day 1 is now in the bag. And Day 2 is coming to soon. I am looking forward to some deep diving in the Caymans next month and really giving all of the dive equipment a good workout.

Oriskany/Ozark Tech Trip

We are going back to the USS Oriskany and the USS Ozark on the MV Spree’s technical trip September 30 through October 2. Both of these wrecks are truly outstanding! The Ozark is 330′ to the sand so you will need a Hypoxic Trimix certification to make this dive. Call me for details if you’re interested. These are excellent dives!

Flower Gardens Brine Seep Tech Trip

We are going to be on the MV Spree’s technical trip to the Flower Gardens Brine Seep August 30 to September 1. This is one of the dives that got me into technical diving so I am really looking forward to it. Capt. Frank has this trip set up so that those with at least a Normoxic Trimix certification can do the dives. Call me for details if you’re interested. This is going to be an awesome adventure!

Rebreather maintenance

Argh! Day 2 of the rebreather maintenance extravaganza. I’ve either got to many rebreathers, or I don’t have enough help. Or both. The good news is that I’m getting my units ready for some serious tech diving in the Caymans and on the MV Spree.

FaceBook testing is underway

You might see some non-relevant posts here in the next couple of weeks and I apologize in advance for it. Chris is working on a link between Face Book and the website so that a single post will appear in both locations. It will be way cool if it works. :-)
