The Technical CCR with Decompression Diving course is to train divers with sufficient experience to use Closed Circuit Rebreathers (CCR) for dives requiring up to 15 minutes of decompression and dives to 140 fsw (42 msw) using air diluent or 160 fsw (48 msw) using helium as part of the diluent. For those divers with sufficient experience, this can be a their first CCR course.

Student Prerequisites:
- Be a minimum age of eighteen (18)
- Be certified as an Advanced Recreational Trimix diver with decompression diving or an Advanced Nitrox diver with decompression diving (or equivalents)
- Be current in CPR/First Aid/Dan O2
- Have a minimum of 125 logged dives of which 25 must be deeper than 100 fsw (30 msw)
- Have dive insurance through DiveAssure or other dive insurance provider
